The Problem

Japan is one of the world's richest consumer markets.
It is also the most politely gated.

Western brands don't fail in Japan for lack of quality. They fail at three gates that can't be crossed with translation software.

The language gate

Japan's press-release platforms require releases written in Japanese. Not translated — written. A release that reads foreign is a release that gets skipped.

The etiquette gate

Japanese media has its own release structure, honorifics, timing customs and taboos. Getting them wrong doesn't just fail — it marks you as an outsider.

The presence gate

No Japanese website, no Japanese materials, no one answering in Japanese — to Japanese buyers and journalists, you don't exist yet. Presence must be built, not assumed.

Packages

Fixed prices. No agency mystery.

Every deliverable is digital or delivered inside Japan through our production network. You approve everything with English side-by-side previews.

How it works

Three steps. All remote.

Brief us in English

A structured intake form and, if you like, a 30-minute call — during your working day. We extract what Japanese media and buyers will actually care about.

Approve side-by-side

Every Japanese deliverable comes with an English mirror version, so you approve meaning, not mystery characters. Revisions included.

We launch in Japan

“A press release is not a translation problem. It is a trust ritual. We perform it natively — so your brand enters Japan as a guest who knows the house rules.”

Questions

Asked honestly, answered honestly.

Do I need a Japanese office or entity?

No. Overseas companies can distribute press releases in Japan without a local entity. We handle account setup, the required Japanese-language writing, and distribution — published under your brand's name.

Why can't we just translate our English press release?

Japanese platforms require releases written in Japanese, and journalists expect a specific structure, tone and etiquette. A translated release reads as foreign — and gets skipped. Yours will be written natively, from scratch, following Japanese press conventions.

Do you guarantee media coverage?

No — and be wary of anyone who says yes. Journalists decide what they cover. What we control is craft: a natively-written release on Japan's largest press network, plus a Japanese media kit so interested journalists can research you without a language barrier. That's what maximizes pickup probability.

How fast is delivery?

Launch Release: typically 7–10 business days from briefing to distribution. Landing pages: about 2 weeks. Trade-show kits: contact us at least 4 weeks before your show — rush options exist at a surcharge.

We don't speak Japanese. How do we work together?

English-first, end to end: briefing, side-by-side draft previews, reports. And because we work European hours, you get same-day replies during your business day.

What exactly arrives at my trade-show booth?

Booth graphics, POP displays, banners and brochures — designed to Japanese trade-show conventions, printed in Japan, and delivered to the venue on your designated move-in day, labeled with your booth number. You fly in with a suitcase; your booth is already in the building.

Japan rewards those who enter properly.
